How to get a message to us while we are on a passage or somewhere remote:
Short messages or urgent messages:
To send a short message to the Iridium Go, send an email to our satellite phone: [our number]@msg.iridium.com
This will send a short (up to 160 characters only) message to Iridium Go. If the email is too long or contains any images or other attachments, the email will bounce and we will not get the message.
Longer messages or emails:
Send a regular email to our boat email address. See our Ops manager if you don’t have this address.
Please try and keep the email as short as possible and remove any extra information and unnecessary images.
Otherwise:
Send emails to our usual personal email addresses and we will check them when we have mobile coverage.
